Weston In Bloom - Projects

Art students from Weston College are competing for a chance to design a centre piece of a new garden design in the town. First year arts degree students have designed models which will be voted for by public vote.

Mark Walker who is a Weston in Bloom Committee member is helping the students and he will create a garden design around their entry, which will be appraised by the South West in Bloom judges in July.

Weston in Bloom Committee have sponsored the Competition. The winner will receive £500 to create their piece and have their work on display at a plot of land near the Train Station.

Members of the public can vote for their favourite design from the 1st of April to the end of May and we will have a public vote in the Italian Gardens on the 21st of May. The winner will be announced in June. Please vote at www.bloomingsculpture.blogspot.com.
