About the Blakehay
AUDITORIUM
The Auditorium now has 199 seats. The seating is raked and each has a great view of the stage. It is ideal for all sorts of events from lectures to concerts. We have a basic lighting rig and sound system. The seats although bought second hand from the Wolverhampton Grand have been re-upholstered and they replaced the original seats which dated back to the second World War.
LOWER STUDIO
Ideal for small groups and with an adjoining kitchen this room holds aprox 50 and doubles as the bar on show nights.
UPPER STUDIO
Used currently as the main rehearsal room for the RAFA Concert Band and Weston Youth Orchestra. This is a lovely space and has housed several Art Displays.
