BLAKEHAY BOOKINGS
The word theatre comes from the Greeks. It means the
seeing place. It is the place people come to see the truth about
life and the social situation.

Regulars
The Blakehay has several regular hirers the principal user being Weston-super-Mare College. They not only put on several productions a year but also occupy the building most days during term time.
Dennis Cole who was recently awarded the MBE for his services to local music can be found once a week conducting the Weston Youth Orchestra as they rehearse for one of the many concerts they perform locally.
Equally busy the R.A.F.A. concert band rehearses every Monday evening.
The Blakehay Actors Company also meet Mondays and several other groups hold their meetings in various rooms throughout the building, these including Stage Coach Theatre Arts School, Weston Film Society, Tennons, and Fuego Flamenco.
